Max Jakob works at Ecosia and is responsible for technical integration and strategy at the Green Consumption Assistant.

He has worked as a developer and data scientist in research and industry, including at the Freien Universität Berlin, SoundCloud, and as a freelancer. He has experience in the fields of search, NLP, and Linked Open Data. For example, he co-created the DBpedia Spotlight Project, which identifies named entities in texts.

In the Green Consumption Assistant project, Max Jakob unites many of his experiences to effectively support the research and development processes in the team.
